With the barriers between Keitaro and Naru finally broken down, it would seem that the unsuspecting couple would finally come clean with each other. But it turns out that Naru might just be purposely blocking Keitaro's clumsy attempts at getting some lovin'.
As passions begin to flare, Mutsumi shows up and whisks the two lovebirds off to Okinawa for an adventure they won't soon forget. When Mutsumi comes down with a distressing case of amnesia, the holiday quickly turns into a revealing look into the origins of one of Love Hina's core elements-the childhood promise.
Mutsumi's affliction could prove permanent if a remedy can't be found. However, that remedy might open up a whole new can of worms that could very well put strain on everyone's friendship.
