Deel 1 (Asterix the Gaul): (hier)
All Gaul is divided into three parts. No four - for one small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the Roman invaders...

Centurion Crismus Bonus, keen to discover the secret of the Gaul's superhuman strength, sends a spy into the village. The Roman's identity is revealed when he loses his false moustache, but he now knows about the magic potion brewed by the druid Getafix. With that potion, thinks Crismus Bonus, he could overthrow Caesar and become Emperor himself, so he kidnaps Getafix to get the recipe. When Asterix joins the druid in captivity, they demand a list of hard-to-find ingredients for the magic potion - only this turns out to be a very different brew, and its effects hair-raising...

Deel 2 (Asterix and the Golden Sickle): (hier)
Disaster strikes in the Gaulish village - Getafix the druid has broken his golden sickle, and without it he can't cut mistletoe for the magic potion. Asterix and Obelix set out for Lutetia (now Paris) to buy a new one.

Unfortunately the sicklesmith, Obelix's cousin Metallurgix, has mysteriously gone missing, and before long our heroes are exploring the underworld of the big city. Who is the big boss behind Navishtrix, Clovogarlix, and their sickle-trafficking gang? When all is revealed and the Gauls have rescued Metallurgix, they can go home with a new sickle for the druid. Magic potion will continue to flow!

Deel 3 (Asterix and the Goths): (hier)
Asterix and Obelix are escorting Getafix to the annual druids' conference in the Forest of the Carnutes. Little do they know that the Goths (Esoteric, Atmospheric, Prehistoric and Choleric) are hiding nearby, intending to invade Gaul and Rome with the help of the Druid of the Year. Their first step is to kidnap Getafix when he wins the title. Asterix and Obelix immediately rush to the rescue, but when they cross the fronties the Goths take them for Romans, the Romans take them for Goths, and, amidst much confusion, the Goths start fighting each other in what will later be known as the Asterixian Wars.

Deel 4 (Asterix the Gladiator): (hier)
Prefect Odius Asparagus wants one of the indomitable Gauls as a present for Julius Caesar, so his men capture Cacofonix the bard. By the time the other Gauls notice how quiet and peaceful the village is, he is on his way to Rome. But Asterix and Obelix are hot on his heels, taking ship with Ekonomikrisis the Phoenician merchant...

Highly unimpressed by his present, Caesar decides to throw the bard to the lions. Asterix and Obelix enlist as gladiators in order to rescue him and, in the course of their training, teach their new colleagues some interesting tricks. The next Games in the Circus Maximus turn out to be the most unusual yet...

Deel 5 (Asterix and the Banquet): (hier)
When the Romans try to contain the threat from the Gaulish village by building a stockade around it, Asterix and Obelix lay a bet with them. They will break out and claim their right to travel freely all over Gaul, collecting the local delicacies and bringing them back to prove their point. Ham from Lutetia, fizzy wine from Durocortorum, fish stew from Massilia in the south... soon their shopping bag is full.

Outwitting Romans, a couple of treacherous Gauls, and the thieves Villanus and Unscrupulus, they set off for home... but who's that little dog who has been following them all the way from Lutetia?

Deel 6 (Asterix and Cleopatra): (hier)
How can Queen Cleopatra prove to Julius Caesar that Egypt is still a great nation? She promises to build him a magnificent palace within three months, and commissions Edifis, the best architect in Alexandria... which isn't saying much.

Luckily Edifis has an old friend in Gaul, Getafix the druid. Getafix, Asterix and Obelix - not forgetting little Dogmatix - go to Egypt to help on the building site. By the time they have seen the Pyramids and the Sphinx, and have outwitted several villains and the Roman army, they certainly deserve their luxurious voyage home on Cleopatra's state barge - and the Queen has won het bet with Caesar.

Deel 7 (Asterix and the Big Fight): (hier)
A collaborator in ancient Gaul? Chief Cassius Ceramix has gone over to the Roman enemy. There's something very fishy going on, as Legionary Infirmofpurpus discovers when he is sent to spy on the Gauls disguised as a crab apple tree. But is that just a red herring? And what about the two concussed druids brewing colourful potions? One way or another, the fight for control of the village between Vitalstatistix and his rival is bound to be a knockout.

Deel 8 (Asterix in Britain): (hier)
One little ancient British village still holds out against the Roman invaders. Asterix and Obelix are invited to help. They must face fog, rain, warm beer and boiled boar with mint sauce, but they soon have Governor Encyclopaedicus Britannicus's Romans declining and falling. Until a wild race for a barrel of magic potion lands them in the drink. It's not quite cricket - how about a nice cup of hot water, though? Or even the first ever tea-party?

Deel 9 (Asterix and the Normans): (hier)
A Norman invasion of the Gaulish village! But only trendy teenager Justforkix, visiting from Lutetia, fears them, for the Gauls have their magic potion. But the Normans themselves want to learn the meaning of fear: can Asterix and his friends teach them? Another secret weapon is brought into play... and at long last the bard Cacofonix wins the appreciation due to him.

Deel 10 (Asterix the Legionary): (hier)
Obelix is in love - but the beautiful Panacea is engaged to Tragicomix, a conscript in the Roman army. Who'd have expected to see Asterix in a legionary's uniform? When he and Obelix join up to rescue Tragicomix from North Africa, Centurions Nefarius Purpus and Dubius Status don't know what's hit them. But the Gauls and their fellow recruits have a smashing trip abroad.

Deel 11: (Asterix and the Chieftain's Shield)
When the hero Vercingetorix was defeated he threw his arms at Julius Caesar's feet. Years later, Caesar plans to hold a triumph with his enemy's shield - but where is it?
Romans and Gauls race to track it down, and Chief Vitalstatistix, dieting on a health farm, has a surprise to spring. Will Caesar defeat the Gauls again, or will the triumph go to Asterix?

Deel 12: (Asterix at the Olympic Games)
The athletes of the ancient world assemble in Athens for the Olympic Games. Asterix and the Gauls enter too, but they're due for a setback. As an artificial stimulant, magic potion is banned. Can our friends win at the Games without it? And what's the special ingredient of the other potion, the one in the cauldron in the shed with the door that doesn't close properly?

Deel 13: (Asterix and the Cauldron)
Financial skullduggery in ancient Gaul! When local Chief Whosemoralsarelastix wants a cauldron full of money kept out of the Roman hands, the cash disappears while Asterix is guarding it. He and Obelix must earn enough to repay it through fairground gladiatorial contests, trendy theatrical performances, even bank robbery - they'll try anything. But whose morals are really elastic? And how do the pirates, just for once, get an unexpected bonus?

Deel 14: (Asterix in Spain)
The brave Iberians are holding out against Julius Caesar, like Asterix and his friends. So when Chief Huevos y Bacon's son is taken hostage, who better to rescue him than the Gauls? Taking him home to Hispania, now Spain, they tangle with the tourist industry and flamenco, and face a wild aurochs in the arena - or bullring. And can it be true? Cacofonix finds a fan in little Pepe!

Deel 15: (Asterix and the Roman Agent)
Julius Caesar turns to psychological warfare... Tortuous Convolvulus the Roman agent is guaranteed to sow jealousy and discord anywhere. Can he make the Gauls suspect each other of treachery? Has Asterix really sold Rome the secret of the magic potion? And can Asterix, Obelix and Getafix outwit the weedy but wily Convolvulus and get the village back to normal?

Deel 16: (Asterix in Switzerland)
Quaestor Vexatius Sinusitus, who is about to expose the Roman governor's creative accountancy, has been poisoned. Can Getafix brew an antidote? Only if Asterix and Obelix find a certain flower for the druid's potion in Helvetia. What with bank safes, cuckoo hourglasses, yodelling and holes in the cheese, they're soon on a real Helvetian roll.

Deel 17: (The Mansions of The Gods)
Why not infiltrate the little Gaulish villagy by building a modern housing estate? That's the plan thought up by trendy Roman architect Squaronthehypotenus to help Caesar crush the indomitable Gauls. Will the villagers be tempted by the chance of making money when the first Roman tenants move in? And what about the Gaul's secret weapon? Roll up to see the Roman remains!

Deel 18: (Asterix and the Laurel Wreath)
Chief Vitalstatistix rashly invites his brother-in-law to dine on a stew seasoned with Caesar's laurel wreath, so Asterix and Obelix must go to Rome to fetch those laurels. Hoping to get access to Caesar, they sell themselves as slaves - but can they do a deal with the corrupt Goldendelicious to swap the laurels for parsley? If so, it will be their own Roman triump!

Deel 19: (Asterix and the Soothsayer)
One dark and stormy night, a sinister figure arrives in the little Gaulish village. Prolix, who claims to be a soothsayer, prophecies that when the storm is over the weather will improve. And it does! Now the credulous villagers believe every word he says, but Asterix has his suspicions of the smooth-talking Prolix. Who is really right about the soothsayer?

Deel 20: (Asterix in Corsica)
Vendettas, fierce family pride, resistance fighters dodging the enemy in the maquis - we're in Corsica in 50 BC. Asterix and Obelix help Chief Boneywasawarriorwayayix to foil the evil designs of Praetor Perfidius and oppose Julius Caesar's army. For the only emperor the proud Corsicans will ever accept, so they say, must be a Corsican himself...

Deel 21: (Asterix and Caesar's Gift)
When Legionary Tremensdelirius gets the title deeds to the little Gaulish village as a bonus, he swaps them with tavern landlord Orthopaedix for a drink. Funnily enough, Asterix and his friends aren't keen to hand over their village to anyone else. After a chieftaincy election campaign and a showdown with the Romans, both events fiercely contested, can all still end well?

Deel 22: (Asterix and the Great Crossing)
Out at sea fishing, Asterix and Obelix are blown out off course in a storm. Luckily they land on the shores of a Roman colony - or is it? Teepees, totems, gobbling birds: it's not what they're used to. And what are the Viking explorers in their longships doing? But perhaps 50 BC is a little too early for a voyage of discovery to the strange New World...

Deel 25: (Asterix and the Great Divide)
Two rival chieftains have been elected to govern a little village in Ancient Gaul - and a ditch dug through the village divides it, literally, into a party of the left and a part of the right. But the son and daughter of the two chieftains are in love. Histrionix and the beautiful Melodrama have more sense than their fathers, and call in Asterix, Obelix and the druid Getafix to sort out the political wrangling. What with the intriguing of the sinister traitor Codfix, who wants to marry Melodrama himself, the Gauls' work is cut out for them - can they persuade the star-crossed lovers' village to reunite against the threat of Julius Caesar's Roman legionaries? Getafix comes up with an interesting solution...

Deel 26: (Asterix and the Black Gold)
The druid Getafix is running short of rock oil - an essential ingredient in the magic potion which gives the Gaulish villagers superhuman strength to fight Julius Caesar's Roman legions. But the Phoenician merchant Ekonomikrisis has forgotten the druid's order, and Asterix and Obelix set off to prospect for black gold in the Middle Eastern desert. Their mission is complicated by the Roman secret agent Dubbelosix and his amazing folding chariot, which is equipped with all the latest spy gadgets. Will the two old friends strike gold or will they have to return home empty-handed..?

Deel 27: (Asterix and Son)
A baby boy is left in a basket outside Asterix's hut - who can have dumped the foundling there, and why? Childcare is something new to the Gaulish warriors, but Asterix and Obelix do their best, although they have had more practice in thumping Romans. Childcare is also new to Crismus Cactus, Prefect of Gaul, who finds himself masquerading as a Gaulish nursemaid. Why are the Romans after the baby - and just what plot is the treacherous Brutus hatching against Julius Caesar? As usual, it's up to Asterix and Obelix, to find out... and to save the day...

Deel 28: (Asterix and the Magic Carpet)
The little Gaulish village where Asterix and Obelix live has just one drawback - its bard is the worst musician in the entire ancient world. When Cacofonix strikes up, his singing sends the sun behind clouds and makes rain begin to fall. But that's just what they want in the distant Eastern kingdom of Rajah Watzit, where the guru Hoodunnit, with his sidekick Owzat, is threatening to end a terrible drought by sacrificing the lovely Princess Orinjade. The fakir Watziznehm arrives by flying carpet to ask the Gauls for help - and just for once, after many adventures, Cacofonix can feel that his talents are properly appreciated.

Deel 29: (Asterix and the Secret Weapon)
A woman bard is unheard of in Ancient Gaul - but when the mothers in Asterix and Obelix's little village decide that besides being a terrible musician Cacofonix, the local bard and schoolteacher, is not educating their children properly, it's Bravura they call in. The men of the village are horrified at first, but Bravura proves a useful ally in countering Julius Caeasar's secret weapon - the Roman leader has sent in a troop of female legionaries, relying on the chivalrous Gauls not to fight women. But Bravura has no such scruples, and together with Asterix thinks up a good idea. Even Cacofonix's music comes into its own...

Deel 30: (Asterix and Obelix All at Sea)
In Ancient Rome the slaves are revolting... and not only that, they've stolen Julius Caesar's own galley, the finest warship in the Roman navy. Under their heroic leader, Spartakis, the former galley slaves make for the little Gaulish village where Julius Caesar's old enemies Asterix and Obelix live - only to find the place in crisis, for Obelix, after drinking the druid Getafix's magic potions on the sly, is first turned to stone and then reverts to childhood. In search of a cure for him Asterix, Getafix and their new friends, the galley slaves, sail to the wonderful continent of Atlantis, ruled by its high priest Absolutlifabulos - and the ensuing sea battles against the Roman navy are fast and furious...

Deel 31: (Asterix and the Actress)
The latest Asterix book sees Asterix and Obelix celebrating their joint birthday party back in the Gaulish village - and some surprise guests have been invited! Meanwhile, Julius Caesar has to deal with his old enemy Pompus, who is looking for supporters among the legions stationed in Gaul. And just what part do two old friends play in the story - Tremensdelirius, from Asterix and Caesar's Gift, and the lovely Panacea, first encountered in Asterix and the Legionary? After many exciting adventures all is finally revealed...
